What a lot of fuss over a brilliant idea.  Children remember times spent in hospital (I well remember when I was in aged 5 and I'm now 61) and this will give a good memory.  Well done to whoever thought to take the fawn into the wards.

Brilliant idea - only reason there's an investigation is that it wasn't the boss's idea! :innocent:
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Please don't start my DM rant!

"at no time did the fawn urinate on a child"

So what if it did! Urine is generally sterile anyway and I can't imagine there are that many diseases we share. None spring to mind! (Sure there is a long list of rare conditions).

Random scare mongering. They should be shut down for crimes far greater than hacking a few "celebs" mobile phones.

Ok, Ok. I will calm down and step away from the whiskey.

The only lesson the bosses should learn is to stop being rule obsessed Pr***s!

I hate the "what if risk adverse" brigade they need to grow a pair  and would perhaps be better concentrating on their waiting lists than chastising well meaning staff

They should instead think of the joy and raising of spirits it will have done for all the Kids, Staff and Parents who face difficult times and value it for what it means.

A smile  ;D on a wee kids face is probably the most cost effective medicine they could have!
