Its such an exciting time isn't it!! just make sure the crows cant get them! ( I lost 3) and dont worry if they dont all hatch at the same time, I gave up on 2 eggs 3 days after hatching, when I opened them to see what had happend they were alive, but obviously didnt survive cos I interfered!! keep us posted!

It is very exciting.  Just been to check on them and there are 5 beautiful little chicks, one dead and one egg not hatched.

There are 3 black, 1 yellow and 1 yellow with some dark brown markings.  Very cute and chirping lots  :)

I'll try and get a picture of them later.

I'm busy getting the holiday cottage finished today, we have our first guests tomorrow....so excitement all round.

Back to curtain making for me now!

Thank you Dixie  :)

Still one unhatched egg.  I'll leave it until tomorrow.

Mum and chicks are all out in the run this morning enjoying the sunshine.

Had 7 eggs.  6 hatched, 1 died the other egg didn't grow.  5 lovely, happy and healthy chicks.

Good luck with yours Lizt, let us know how you get on.
