This very day 28 years ago.

On Tuesday 19th June 1984, before my then husband went to work, I said to him "You may be getting a phone call today".
Sure enough, at midday, he got the call to take me to the maternity hospital. I arrived there (after finishing my washing and ironing and going to the shop for sweets and magazines etc between contractions) at 2.30, and gave birth to my little baby (only 5lbs 5ozs) Emily Louise at 7.03pm.
I didnt see her until late the following morning as she was taken to special care.
And now 28 years later, she's grown up to be a mother's dream. She works hard, has a good job, a fantastic boyfriend, a house and 2 adorable rabbits!!!

Happy Birthday Emmy!!!
