Lambing Course
« on: January 01, 2011, 06:17:18 pm »
We will be running our popular lambing course again this year, now firmly established in the calendar as the "Rolls Royce" of lambing courses. Participants gain hands on experience of all aspects of lambing and develop the confidence and knowledge required to lamb their own flocks or to carry out contract lambing on larger holdings.

Dates are 18th - 22nd March 2011. Places are stictly limited and allocated on a first come, first seved basis.

You are never too far away.

We  have had people on the course from, amongst others, John O Groats, South of France, Jersey, Brussels, Northern Ireland, Essex, and alot of places in between!

Sounds like you may be running your own course then!

One of mine is "imminent" and has been so for the last fortnight.  We're both going to be learning this the hands-on way!

For sure.

We've could try taking the girl jogging to bring her on early...  Suspect Jill will do things in her own time.  Fortunately she has done it before so at least one of us is competent.  The scan on 16 Dec was unable to say whether it was twins or a single, but her sister who is due in three weeks looks bigger.  I guess when she lambs I'll have to check to see whether there's another one coming along behind.

Getting really good at looking at sheep though.
