Goat Husbandry by David Mackenzie
This manual is crammed full of unromanticised technical information while managing to remain eminently readable. There is a dry sense of humour accompanying descriptions of the innevitable difficulties in keeping goats which is heartening - maybe it is all worthwhile!
This new edition has been extensively revised by Ruth Goodwin, a well-known expert, to reflect twelve years of massive change to the goat-keeping world since the publication of the fourth edition in 1980. She has incorporated her revisions with great skill without losing the character of this classic book.
