my first broody has this morning produced her first chick - so far, so good  :relief:  :excited:

yes, very! hope to find out today if all 4 eggs hatched successfully; seen 2 chicks so far  :D

After several years of raising chicks under broodies I still get excited when they hatch. I waste hours watching them when their mother brings them out for a feed. Such a treat! :excited:
