No pain as such Gary but I feel worn out all the time like you are just now. This bloody awful humid weather is not helping.Roll on winter! Oh no I don't want a foot of snow no and I don't want 0s degrees F either. Some nice 12-16 C Will suit me grand. A chap was telling me we want a few good sharp frosts it will kill some of these bugs off.Now how do you know that I asked.Take the bull in the bowler hat.How do AI save that? Loads of things are kept in cold conditions and then revitalised :D :farmer:

Hello Gary Good Morning. Thanks for your interesting post We hope You are still improving and getting about a little bit I am still thinking you and David had similar attacks. When he next calls I will get him to write down what was wrong with him then I can tell you he was only off work a month at most I will find out for sure today.I am sure his tale will encourage you.If you go to the East of England Show Ground You will no doubt go via the A1 That is the main road to Scotland from London up the eastern side of England and it misses all the best parts of Lincolnshire It now bypasses Grantham and Stamford.A place you may know of is close to Grantham Burleigh Horse Trials? There is always a big fuss when they are on down that way.Yes in Grimsby we have the best of the weather really no proper cold frosts ,little if any snow last winter we had some snow it was 35m/m on the island out side my front and the silly bloody drivers still banged into one another. It only lasted all morning.10 miles away there was over a foot and where David lives it built up to 2 ft in places but noting serious. Our  big problem is rain we don't get that much. The combine harvesters have been at work over a fortnight now and the Foreman at Brocklesby Farms rand and said We will be in the Rape tomorrow if you are coming to video the new machine .Both of them Yes One behind the other? I 'll tell Andy to follow close so you can get some like you did 4 in line. That was 5 year ago now.He organised the drivers to come together and drive one behind the other down the field working that cuts a 100 foot at a pass with 4 machines .These 2 new CR 9000 series  cut 38ft at a pass so they only do about 75foot the 2 They are very big on tracks Not much good for your 10 acres though  ;D hope you can soon get about to see some working up your way  :farmer:

Gary tell me about it I have been saying the British Government DO NOT WANT BRITISH FARMING The whole lot Cons - Lab - Lib The clique we have now.Tell me something they have done that is / was good for the British Farmer.Allowing Building and such on prime agricultural land. The ded cow scare Which was absolutely ludicrous.Oppererating cost spiraling ever upwards Fuel costs Silly H&SE rules the price realised on the farm produce Did you read my Tom story. Then compare it to the supermarket prices.Where will it all end?I don't care much no one of importance will listen and I shall not be here much longer so.Grow what I can cadge and swap what I cannot and pay through thenose for the rest. There you are Gary That should have cheered you up ??? If it wasn't so serious  ;D ;D ;D :farmer:
So what the Hell as this to do with this thread? Every thing to do with it The worry and the suicides in the farming world are enough to give anyone a heart attack and or a stroke or something anything  but a good living. If its so bad why don't the farmers get out?I will tell you why its easy The Farmers Dad was a farmer his was and so on his son also will be a farmer it is bred into them they know nothing else poor sods. The time is coming very fast for a revolution. ??? Only trouble is when youv'e turned round its no better :farmer:

Goodness, what a chequered life you have had, Gary!  Hope you don't have any more heart problems if you move away from here, as it would be costly in Spain! At least you have the NHS here! ;D ;D

Well, you have done a lot more with your life so far, than most people!!  You have certainly had a varied work life!!!  You say you left school with no education, but you should be proud of what you achieved, setting up and running all those businesses.  You must have worked hard to do this.

wow what a fantastic life story. whilst you are incapacitated you should write it all down and sell it. Another auther will tidy it up for you and it would I'm sure be a runaway best seller. Maybe even made into a film. Who do you fancy to play you? Mel gibson perhaps?
