YES JAMES AND THE HAULIER STILL CLAIMS IT BACK and you still pay the supermarket price increases You pay I pay but not the haulier because he claims it back :farmer:

Wizard I am not being heavy I am being honest and realistic. They may not have added VAT on to food but remember the haulier adds his increase in to the supermarket and so the supermarket has to put the price of their food up and up and up! Fuel costs effect every single one us whether we drive or not.
Yes, as an Accountant I can vouch for that.  The only people who gain from VAT are the government lackies and their expense claims.

Pleased you were not my accountant Anne.I have reread my posts and cannot find anywhere where I have said they gain any thing from VAT Please read and try to understand what I have written :wave:
