Thanks Rosemary, yes have tried there, and everywhere else I can think of, still looking, but nothing suitable so far. But hopefully something will come up.  :)

I have a friend in Gartly with a large house with 23 acres. Pm me if this might be of interest
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

Sounds great. Will ask straight away, would you be open to pets? It's a real sticking point for a lot of people. We have dogs, and cats. Well trained and well behaved dogs, and cats are fab mousers. But really struggling to find anyone open to dogs.

Have you tried the local estates.

For example: http://www.morayestates.co.uk/property-let/homes-let/

Others include Knockando, Altyre, Logie, Arndilly - not sure if any of these have property available, but it may be worth a try.

Hope you find somewhere.
