All advice welcome!
« on: November 19, 2014, 09:27:29 am »
Hi there, I'm a mum of three who has always wanted to have
My own little bit of land up north! I rent a farm in Perthshire
At the moment where i looked after horses while looking
After children. My youngest also has rare chickens and wants to
Get involved with other rare breeds as would I! First hurdle.. A croft!
I have some savings, need advice on purchasing a croft! Would love
Advice from people who have been there as the actual crofters
Commission are quite mind blowing at this early stage!

Kind regards in advance.

Hello and welcome to TAS,

Have a look on the Crofting board - you'll be able to see who's posting there.

Once you get your croft, you'll want some lovely Shetland cattle  :hugcow:

  from lowland Perthshire.
As Rosemary says look at the Crofting board but I'd also get in touch with the Crofting Commission HQ.

Rosemary - I cant decide if this is a subtle hint for Cheryl or not  :-J :innocent:
