Hello everybody!  :wave:
Been reading this forum for several months since I acquired some land at a very reasonable rent with pretty much a lifetime guarantee of tenancy.

Found the advice on here amazing, amusing and really interesting.

Me and my partner (getting married next year  :excited:) are just getting the land ready as it has been a bit neglected for a couple of years and are about to start erecting fences and runs for a couple of pigs and some chickens. The best advice I've read is not to take on too much at once, so I'm going to work on a 3-5 year plan to get everything up and running.

Should be mortgage free by the summer so hope to be able to work part time over the summer (I'm a builder and Landscape Gardener) and am really looking forward to working towards 'the good life'  :)

I'm in the beautiful Stroud Valleys of Gloucestershire and my land is on the outskirts of Bisley.
Had a good look at the field today and reckon I can get another 150sq metres out of it once the hedges and trees are cut back :thumbsup:
