Hello Hello
« on: November 16, 2009, 06:23:15 pm »
HELLO....from Hampshire's wonderful Test Vally, where the water is as clear as gin and twice as expensive....

As a countryboy who went to London and came back with children, I'm a new-ish 'good-life-er' with 8 chickens, 4 lambs (wethers, Wiltshire Horn) and 6 piglets (Oxford S&Bs with 3 Glos old spots to keep them company).

Who knows - bees next (maybe), plus hoping to breed from the GOS sow when she matures (maybe crossing with one of the OSBs - any good anyone?)

Glad to be here - and if anyone knows where I can get a set of good second-hand pig-tag pliers, and a energiser (plus solar pane) for my electric fence let me know.

(Oh... and a landrover, a large pile of cash, a livestock trailer, another chest freezer etc etc etc)

Hello from yet another from Clackmanann, our house looks out onto a HUGE phalic stone that casts a wounderful shadow in the bedroom at night....have a look at the Stone of Mannan!!! I used to go to London all the time until we moved but never came back with children just no money!!!! Welcome, I hope your wishes are granted.....Oh, reminds me...I am going to be a fairy Godmother soon, well not a fairy one, too old and too fat for that!!!
