I am an import to straighthan the breed, along with a few others!!! Clackmannan type must have
(1) Strong legs for the hills
(2) Strong stomach for all the carry outs and takeaways
(3) strong head for all the family feud's and fights
(4)Strong arms to carry all the take outs and takeaways and multi packs of crisps, beer and spirits
(5) Sense of humor ;D ;D ;D

These must be traits of the "incomers" to Clackmannan. I was born there and lived there for almost 19 years and many of the inhabitants that I grew up with were most certainly "none of the above", sorry to be controversial.

Well I must admit I've only been here just short of two years but I've met nothing but friendship and helpfulness since I moved from my comfort zone (Aberdeenshire) to the Wee County

Little Blue .....are you not going to finish that saying about Derbyshire folk being stong in the arm?  Oh go on then, I will say it, we are supposedly strong in the arm and weak in the head  (well, Little Blue and I are not the last bit, are we!!)
It's "Wick" in the 'ead,  ie Quick, clever.
Dont do us down Roxy! so make your own minds up whether we are or not,  I know what I think.....

Hello from rainy west of ireland from another gos breeder.

Also have 2 landrovers a 90 and a discovery - the 90's been fron ended and we have new bits that need fixing up, cannot see us ever having the time though lol - oh and we have an old tractor ferguson 20 that OH will not
part with that also needs painting and fixing, but she always starts and is a 1949 model with a log book! so we have most of whats on your wish list but there too damn old and need lotsa work.  Never ending job this green living small holding carry on - and you have to be mad to get into it too
