Have you tried the poultry auctions, Karen?  Chelford, Leek (one Saturday morning each month)  Clitheroe?

Have tried Chelford. Nothing in I fancied for the last couple of weeks. Not been to Leek recently though. Going to Chelford tomorrow - looking for a black highland!

ooh, good luck finding your black highland, Karen!!!

I was at Clitheroe carriage sale the other week, and they were selling poultry on the same day.  Plenty of ducks and geese around, but only had a quick look so cannot say if they had any indian runner ducks.  They do a sale there on Wednesday evenings - 5pm I think, fur and feather.  Usually well attended and plenty of birds.  Just a  funny time for us to go especially in winter, with evening feeds to do.
