it was a simple choice to make..i wanted a Red massy, but then, the little grey furgy  just captured my heart, and as Bodger said..it would mean suffering the fires of hell if i painted her Red…and i would get hate mail from all those grey furggy fans….so i will be contented with grey

maybe get a red back box  :innocent:  :excited:

and she will be called little grey as i have gone a little grey  :roflanim:

don't know if you noticed…i am getting a little excited now  :roflanim: :excited: :excited:

I share your excitement and am a bit jealous!

I just bought a binder.  It needs new belts, I have nothing to tow it with and don't (yet) grow anything that needs cut and tied into sheafs but that doesn't get in the way of being excited.
Red 35, grey fergie or blue dexta are all words which bring a smile to my face and start me dreaming about which one I would most like to have (and I am coming to the conclusion that I am going to need more than one tractor).

I hope it brings much joy and you have a long and happy future with your fergie!

Thanks our wullie

Hi Sally

not yet… france is now done and dusted  Exeter is almost done  :fc:

once Exeter is complete, the money will go straight to complete the smallholding…should be about 3 weeks ,
its that horrible time of, what do i buy now! .. i hate to tempt fate..

i have found a cracking static caravan …but don't want to buy it yet just in case…
also found a 20ft sea container..same again, i have put a small deposit on the tractor, and they are more than happy with that……

the guy i am buying off is wonderful, he has been a real help, he has the surveyor going out this week to mark the boundaries, so no disputes can happen,  not that i think there would be, but better safe than sorry

we just want to get in now and start making our new life,

I got this one for nothing last year.

My friend Dave and I rescued it from the deepest jungle of a garden and towed it home with Daves Grey Fergi on a fixed towing bar.

I sat on the non existent seat and was the steersmen. The journey brought tears to my eyes I can tell you !  :innocent:

Half way home, the tyre came off the rusty rim. That was fun, but we were nearly home and we just carried on.  ::)

Once we'd got it home, we spent the next few days scrapping it, we got all the useful bits off it and the remainder went go off to the scrapyard. I love a bargain, as I said, we got it for nowt. :nwink:

The bits that we gleaned have been very useful in keeping my own Fergi on the road, or should that be in the field?
Here she is, my pride and joy.

Now if I could just get that super deal with a cricket club beginning with 'A'  :excited:
