I got this one for nothing last year.
My friend Dave and I rescued it from the deepest jungle of a garden and towed it home with Daves Grey Fergi on a fixed towing bar.
I sat on the non existent seat and was the steersmen. The journey brought tears to my eyes I can tell you !
Half way home, the tyre came off the rusty rim. That was fun, but we were nearly home and we just carried on.
Once we'd got it home, we spent the next few days scrapping it, we got all the useful bits off it and the remainder went go off to the scrapyard. I love a bargain, as I said, we got it for nowt. :nwink:
The bits that we gleaned have been very useful in keeping my own Fergi on the road, or should that be in the field?
Here she is, my pride and joy.
Now if I could just get that super deal with a cricket club beginning with 'A'
