I'm so angry, I was telling someone about it today and I was shaking, we so want that land.
Mamhead is a snip at 8m as it was up for 11 and apparently they spent 4 on it.
We are happy with our 2 static caravans(£1500), log burner(£300), band A council tax(£900) and no mortgage (£0000) a few acres, a little income, dog, 29 chooks and a barn with PP that'll do for now.

A colleague of mine paid well over the odds for a field because it squared off his land but he paid something like double, not 10 times the worth!

Shame land isn't that price, I'd be sitting on a goldmine!

Phew!!  Did he really think........surely not!!  Round here, around £8-£10,000 acrea, but small 2 acre paddocks going for £40,000 plus for horse owners. Now, we have 10 acres,with  what is considered one of the best views going - wonder if someone will give me such a good price
