Spaces available on curing course in Shrops/Cheshire border

I have booked a curing workshop from The Bacon Wizard - Jasper Akroyd for sometime in the next few weeks.


He's going to teach me and my friendly local butcher (who is hosting) how to make bacon, how to flavour bacon, make parma ham, wet cures and dry cures.  I have 7 gilts to work on, of which 3.5 are already sold to friends and family. The rest are still available.


Is anyone interested in coming along?  There will be a nominal charge of probably £40 for the day to cover the costs of the lesson, and you can buy the meat you cure if you want it.


Jasper says he's happy to provide support during the curing process after a workshop so this might be ideal for anyone keen to do their own curing in the future...

No firm date yet, but likely to be mid week before the end of September. If you're keen I'll try to arrange a mutually convenient date...
