Not into KKs gavin, I know they eat less than real pigs. At that age mine would be on 5lb a day but I'm sure I remember Karen saying that for KKs its only about 1-2lb plus fruit and veg or grass if you have it as they are grazers.
I'm sure Karen will be along soon to put you right.

KK translate from Maori to English as meaning skinless sausage if I recal correctly so I'm like BB I have proper pigs  ... Only joking I'm positive that some pet keepers will be on today to help ... I'm still honestly just joking

Gavin i don't mean to be rude but did you actually do any research before you got your pigs?
If you scroll further down this page there is a topic called kune kune and happy hippy has given loads of feeding advice and keeping advice about them in there.
so have a look and get reading.
Mandy :pig:
ps i don't keep KK's either
heres the link for the topic

Hey you guys, Kunekunes are proper pigs  :huff:  :roflanim:
Proper tasty and proper easy to keep too

Kune translates to 'fat & round', so Kune kune means VERY fat and round apparently, but this is because as a breed they were used by sailing vessels to provide food when everything else had run out. The pigs were fed up so fat that their skin was almost bursting (apparently, this is all anicdotal stories from many moons ago  ;)) they were then loaded onto the ships going on long voyages, the pigs survived on just a handful of scraps and by the time they got to their destination the pigs had slimmed enough that they could be eaten. Having said all that, we don't like them to get too fat becuae of the huge range of health implications it has (and same goes for all our pigs, proper ones too  ::) :D)

Gavin, I feed approx 1 pound of standard sows rolls per Kunekune per day (split into 2 feeds) we bulk it up with a little bit of soaked sugar beet, fruit & veg and give them some hay when there is no grass. When the grass is growing give them as much space as you can - they do better that way

So for your 3, give them 1.5lbs in the morning (weigh it out so you see exactly what it looks like, then find a container that holds that amount - that way you'll not be tempted to overfeed them  :innocent:) and another 1.5lbs at night. If the weather gets really cold or they seem to be losing lots of condition you can up it a little, but only a little (don't let those pleading piggy eyes deceive you  ;)) Keep feeling them - you should be able to just feel their backbones and ribs, if you can't - then they are too fat.

Here's a link to the BKKPS website, great selection of articles and loads of advice http://www.britishkunekunesociety.org.uk/articles/kunekunekeeping.aspx

I'd do it gradually, but I'd be more inclined to wait til the weather warms up and the grass starts to grow or til you get them into the bigger area - they'll notice the drop in ration more if they're bored (well, that's what I think anyway  ;)) But if you're giving extra fruit/veg then you could drop it back.

I give mine 1lb pig nuts every day, split in to 2 feeds, plus any fruit and veg spare and same hay.
Someone told me to put a teaspoon of vegetable oil in one feed ( one teaspoon each in their trugs) to help with their dry skin.
