I can't advise as we currently have two kune kune and a castrated vietneme pot belly in our freezer after rehoming them in the summer as someone's garden pets who on the Tuesday mentioned to my daughter in the pub that they were moving house on the Friday and couldn't take them so had to do something. I didn't phone until the Thursday thinking that they would have sorted themselves out, no they still had no idea what they were going to do the next day. Needless to say I sent hubby round with our trailer to collect them, no tags, no paperwork, no cph no. I phoned defra who couldn't do anything unless these people started the automatic computerised paperwork, apparently it can't be started half way along the chain

how stupid is that. So they came kept them a couple of months now they are in the freezer with a couple of our tags on them.
Think I may give up raising weaners and just live on rehomes, as I work for a vets and a month or so back someone came in off one of the housing estates to register their two kunekune piglets aged 6weeks, I asked for their cph no. And where they were going to be kept. She had her number and said at home of course, so defra obviously don't have a problem with pigs in town back gardens. I have visions of these in my freezer by this time next year
