Sharp frost here this morning , -2C , and as I entered the downstairs loo I just happened to notice the dull emitter lamp that we use for hatchlings , this warmed the seat for me , then I used it to warm the paper............. now that is Luxury ,  :excited:  don't knock it till you tried it.

 ;D

Feeling warm is certainly very good

I need to go out and clean the sheep trailer from yesterday, but I'll just have another coffee sitting by the Aga first and admire the crisp, cold morning from in here a bit longer.........

Doug I used to work at a plastics company many yonks ago. One of the things they made was heated lavatory seats for hospitals. They gave us one to try out in the ladies loo. Agree, it was great on cold days  ;D

My 'new to me' car has heated seats. Oh, the relaxation on a sore back when the heat starts to kick in  ;D

Oh, I remember those, in a much-loved Volvo many years ago...  The Swedes understand a thing or two about cold weather!  :D

Nowadays I take a hot-water bottle with me in the car on cold days.  If I have the heating on in the car, I fall asleep  :o, so I have a hottie behind my back, and a jumper, gloves and if necessary hat on, and the heat down low.  Toastie warm and stay awake - result

I have been known to put the single bar wall heater on in the bathroom for a few minutes before sitting down.  Whoever invented cold plastic loo seats was a mysogenist, for sure!   :D

Oh, I want me one of those!  Where can I get one?

Sorry Sally, the company went out of business many years ago. The warm toilet seats were not that popular though.

:roflanim: made me think back to when I was a kid, putting toilet paper around the seat because it was too cold to sit on :roflanim:

Cold ? Cold ?
 What is that ?
No heated wellies for me , just walk faster !
Dig faster , deeper , longer , soon warm up .
Heated loo seats ?
Would have to be heated bucket rims here !
