Luxury is a boot room to leave the wet clothes in, and a warm bathroom to retire to afterwards.

I'm sure the hens will really appreciate having a comfy settee and woodburner for cozy nights in - makes my hen coops sound a bit rough  :D

We changed our plastic toilet seats for wooden ones - much warmer.  Now I have to have the raised ones, we're back to plastic and they are cold.  No, one is cold.  the other is FREEZING.

New roof and double glazing sound excellent, as you say, might as well make life easier where it can be made

You're welcome to eggs VF, all things being equal I'll set up my breeding pens in March so should have pure hatching eggs by April. I need to buy some more Buff Sussex pullets though, I'm down to only one hen and a cock. Plenty of Wyandottes, Marans and Cream Legbars  :)

My 'new to me' car has heated seats. Oh, the relaxation on a sore back when the heat starts to kick in  ;D

And I thought my heated wing mirrors were the utmost in luxury... 8)
Ah, it hasn't got those  :)

err.... are you sure?  BH didn't realise he had them on his pickup until I came along - the rear window is internal in the pickup, and the dogs smear the front window of the rear pickup compartment so you can't see out of the rear window of the cab in any case, so he never used the rear demist so never realised that it also demisted the wing mirrors.  :roflanim:
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

What is is with dogs and their need to leave nose prints all over car windows.

Someone should design a toilet roll dispenser that heats the paper as you pull
it out!

The hi-tec Japanese loo does away with the need for loo roll, at the expense of some complexity

heated loo paper?  heated loo seats?  You might as well get the computer in there and never come out of your 'office' you southern softies!  We've got 2 garden loos which are composting ones - bit of sawdust on the top of your contribution  :garden:  and hey presto, it's odour free for the next in the queue. Makes you feel warmer in winter if you go outside and then come back in again! :cold:
