WANTED.....
« on: September 25, 2012, 01:27:50 pm »
.....for a friend!
A very good friend of mine who has kept ponies and pigs over the years has now decided to get some sheep for the 10 acres of lovely grass she has aquired.

So....looking for 3-4 top quality Lleyn ewes that are either in lamb or could be running with ram for a bit longer prior to collection. I will be buying as my poor friend has had several breeders try to sell her rubbish because she dosent know what she is looking for which is very sad.....so genuine please.

All my lleyns are old ewes, but I do know a few people who breed good ones. I dont think any will be in lamb yet as they lamb them outside in apr.

I know of him through the Breed Society ringing about I did when I wanted some.

I don't think my Lleyns are what she wants, unless she wanted to get a crop of lambs from them, keep as replacements and sell as culls for about the same that she bought them as. Pretty sure mine aint pedigree either, I never asked.

The Chilbolton flock has a very good rep, too.
