Just driven down South to visit my mum and was able to give here all these cut dahlias. 7 vases full and still some to spare.

Lovely array of colours, like Dahlias too, think they were one of percy Throwers faves too, i have one of his books which is a bit of a flower bible for me.
Bet your mum was well chuffed.

Wow, the basket looks great. You would make a pretty penny selling them.

I'd be a buyer as there's no way my gardenings skills

Your comments are far too kind! I made the agreement that alot of the garden has to be for cut flowers so we can brighten up the house over the Summer on rainy days..

We've got half a dozen dahlias growing down the sides of the path between a duck and chicken run and the big bright flowers really cheer me up as I go about my 'animal rounds'. Must do more next year!
