10 -  early this morning.  First one arrived around 2.30,  and all born and feeding well by 4.00.

I was going to guess Thursday night and 11 - so she took me by surprise last night.    At tea time there wasn't any milk in (not even a drop)  and she hadn't shown any signs of nesting......which with Ellen that is the usual sign, she usually builds a nest like mad, taking everything in with her including water bowls, hose pipes, bits of string....anything she can get hold of!

She was very restless late evening and just wanted a cuddle, so I settled down in the ark with her for a bit of sleep then about 1.30 she started on the nest building - her milk was definitely in then and the first piglet made an appearance at around 2.30.

No problems and all doing well.    :pig:

They are very sweet  .
I'm amazed  how close my guess was ! I was only 3/4 of an hour late and 1 piglet to many.
I've only ever worked with Babirusa ( 2 boars just coming to sexual maturity, not a good idea)
