The Gloucestershire Old Spots Pig Breeders Club is holding a workshop near Lymm in Cheshire this coming Saturday. Its main aim is to teach relative newcomers how to select quality pigs for pedigree breeding and how to look out for faults. It also covers how to tattoo pigs' ears and preparation and techniques for showing pigs. There are three different breeds at the venue (GOS, Saddlebacks & Large Blacks). Places are still availiable. It starts at 10.45 and ends at 16.00. If you'd like to attend (£15 per delegate incl a buffet lunch) please contact the Club ASAP at mail@oldspots.org.uk
