Icelandic goats wanted

...or similar hardy cross/breed. Western Scotland. Any ideas?

Or Old English? But no goats like wet so all will want some sort of shelter.

Many thanks folks, will definately look into Bagots. They seem pretty hardy by all accounts.

bagots are delightful. walby farm park in carlisle,  have a nice flock and should have kids for sale this year. we have 2 billies for hire if u need one. wer in aberdeenshire.

Great, thanks thats really helpfull. I was hoping to get hold of some heavily pregnant females as I am told they will heft better in unfenced areas when the kids are born.

bagots r not as wild as people think, mine follow a bucket and will walk on a lead.
if youre wanting some this year, id put out feelers as soon as poss as female kids would be sold pretty quick id imagine.
how far can you travel?  the bagot website isnt very helpful as its v out of date. the secretaries r friendly.
we found ours thru RBST stock exchange.
let us know if u need anymore bagot help/info  :D :D
