I used to pass North Piddle on my way to somewhere - out near Hereford, I think.  Never saw South Piddle.  Nor East nor West, come to that.
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Is there anyone else who can't pass "Bolfracks" on the A9 without smiling?  ;)

There's a River Piddle in Dorset which runs through Piddletrenthide village.

i used to live near the villages - the Clatfords. Upper Clatford and Lower Clatford. apparently the Lower Clatford guys didnt like being thought of as a lower class, so the name was changed from Lower Clatford to Goodworth Clatford!

We have two villages one called New Deer the other Old Deer but no Deer.
Or did Deer become Old Deer when New Deer showed up?
I've asked several locals and they have no I Deer.
