planting

chillis going in today!
1 acre of land where i am clearing trees and a swimming pool so we can make the land productive. MK3 hilux single cab pickup which has been completely rebuilt over the last 2 years matt black and cool as! no animals yet except a very furry black cat called Hansel (he is so hot right now)

its my birthday and i'd planned on doing nothing looks like i'm suddenly heading south for 4 days working though so that will be fun i love driving the whole length of the M6 plus a bit more!!! (please note sarcasm)

wet!  im removing 50yrs worth of the wrong masonry paint from 270yr old lime render with a petrol power washer at 200psi. fun but knackering!!

SPRING!!!!!

  • lambs everywhere  :love: :sheep:
  • so warm I didn't wear my gloves on the quad bike
  • a tinge of green even on Meg-pig's paddock, and proper growing grass in the pastures
  • and, the definitive one, I could stand with one foot on three daisies!  :D

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
