somewhere within 10 miles of bridge of allan is the plan with alloa our prefered target but houses that meet our needs are snapped up fast and the agents know it so play evil mind games....

not worried though something will come up it always does...

all my friends keep texting and saying are you sure you want to go to scotland!!!

on the other hand it sounds like there would be lots of work for me to do tidying up for people when the winds die down...

4 weeks tomorrow and i get to come share in the interesting weather if all goes according to plan...

If you have a chainsaw I can leave my trees for you to cut them up for me, Dave?

we are losing tree's in worcestershire at a rate of knotts!! its really scary and we started to flood here earlier but luckily that's gone down now. fencing - have mended 3 times today and neighbours horses got loose when gate blew off hinges.  my little 10 year old is  a legend thoug helping mummy mend fencing while ice pick rain was flying in our faces (!)

it's total carnage around here!   

we have had a whole larch wood desemated in about 3 hours and the debris over the roads is increadable!!

the winds worryingly seem to be picking back up again, so looks like another night of praying the hen shed roof stays on!
thankfully after the last winds we have not dangerous trees left in the garden

Annie, that looks awful.  Hope it hasn't caused too much damage.  Also hope you  have a log fire!   

Here is Shropshire the wind got up midday but not as bad as some places and it seems to have dropped now.  I had to go out so took dogs with me.  Had just pulled into carpark and let the dogs out of the car to give them a walk when a sudden gust whipped my glasses from my face and across the path.  Managed to fish them out of some mud.  Fortunately I only need them for reading - had just forgotten to take them off again.

Ooooh it looks scary, I've had maybe an hour of horizontal wind/rain/hail but I'm luckily very sheltered.

Luckily, the only damage was a broken net support on the trampoline which I'm sure Son and Son in law will be able to fix before the grandkids need to use it again.  The trees can stay there till Dave and his family move up here as he'll chop it up fro my wood burner hopefully!

Windy three large Scots pines down, one right through the middle of a chicken shed, demolished,  No chickens injured all managed into the other huts. Was going to replace this hut in the spring so not botherred to much. The same tree has demolished the neighbours greenhouse and grandchildren Wendy house. One good thing lots of fire wood for the neighbours.

Not had as bad a weather situation here in Birmingham but the wind blew two ridge tiles off the shop roof right on to the ramp leading in to the shop. Angela, the girl who works for us had gone out for a smoke only 20 seconds earlier and I'd been in and out all afternoon. Man was she lucky. 

For safety sake, I reversed my transit van up to door of the shop with both back doors open. I then opened the side door and customers had to enter our shop through a transit foyer  I spent the afternoon as a doorman helping people in to the van whilst keeping an eye on the roof.

I thought I'd got away with it today (in Cambs) but on my evening locking up run found a beehive blown over (fortunately empty) and a chicken coop missing its roof. There's also a lot of miscellaneous pots and such blown all over the place  - big clear up is now well overdue!
