Definitely stronger here in Stirlingshire. We've lost two fences and a greenhouse which withstood the last one no problem

This is a real whopper - far worse here than bawbag.  My big double back gate was wide tae the wa, bolts yanked off, and the ones into the ground too.  Presently secured with plastic boxes full of soil, a big traffic cones and kiddies play car.  Two leylands down, one across in front of my bedroom window during the night - too scared to look out till this morning - it's fallen on the kids trampoline and broken a net support; the other across the burn at the front.  Lucky nothing more so far but it's still blowing a hooly

Its nowhere near as bad down south but still pretty windy here too.  I have a lot of trees in the garden and can't bear to look at them, afraid one might come crashing down.
Is this the price we have to pay for milder weather?

Gawd! It sounds horrendous up there.....................................We seem to only get just the tail end of the 'tempêtes' that you have been experiencing up north (and that's bad enough for me). Even then 'Bawbag' brought down telegraph poles, buckled  old metal electricity poles, and pole-axed one of our more exposed cider apple trees.
And, of course, the rain! We had 3 months in the summer with no rain and 2 months with very little wet stuff coming out of the sky...................... and, until Bawbag started, our land was dry a metre down. Now the land is saturated. it's chuckiing it down, and blowing another right Hoolie and I'm steeling myself to go out and do the round of the flocks again........................

I know we don't have it as bad as you guys up North but i stood in our polytunnel this morning and prayed it stayed put! it's pretty blowy out there. Keep safe everyone hopefully this is the last of them ....Please

A wee update now I've made it to the office (and then I guess I'd better get on and do some work!!):

Three trees down over the road, and one over a powerline (tree on fire, with fire engine in attendance!). A dozen or so trees down over the M9 Northbound, with one car wrecked, and the carriageway closed (diversion via M876 after Kincardine bridge junction, but I don't know what you'd do once you got to Stirling).

All good fun! :-)

There's trees down in Stirling too.  My daughter is right in Kings Park area and they have no phone lines, due to a tree snagging a cable.  Check the traffic Scotland website for details of problem areas.

From the window at the mo, I''m  just watching a 100 year old oak tree in the west hedge just above our temporary sheep pen (it's empty) which is at such and angle that it is going to go any minute now........................

What a shame.  It's so sad when old trees like that go down. A piece of our history.

I hadn't watched the forecast so wasn't expecting this    OH watched one of our field shelters explode as with a missile hit - the roof blew across three fields and the public road until it lodged in the hedge.  Thank goodness no-one was passing    Our polytunnel doors have blown apart again but the cover has stayed on.  Daren't look at the trees, but they are all fairly small.
It seems to be past the worst here.  Stay safe everyone.

It's been windy here too but nowhere near as bad as in the Central Belt. It's dying away now, thank goodness.

on the other hand it sounds like there would be lots of work for me to do tidying up for people when the winds die down...

4 weeks tomorrow and i get to come share in the interesting weather if all goes according to plan...
