Anne the communicator came. Just wanted Hetty the horses name and the correct name of the property. She just stood and scanned Hetty using reiki to start with.
Then she just started talking, telling me about the pictures which popped into her head. She talked about Hetty's feelings when she arrived here, her first impressions of me, how Hetty had behaved, the tricks she used. What she liked and disliked. These were really accurate. Then she hit me with the whammy.
She told me that Hetty was showing her monkeys, and that she didn't like these monkeys but that they didn't appear that often any more. This is a bizarre reference, unless you knew that this was an expression that my sister used when i first got Hetty, and an image which i frequently used to remind myself. My sister used to say " don't carry the monkeys when you are riding her" i.e. ride her for being herself don't carry the hangups, expectations, and habits from Floyd (my old horse, RIP)
She also imaged/referenced a box that I put things in and took things out of to help me ride her better. This is an imaginary 'toolkit' of exercises props and reminders for me when i am riding...sort of to keep one step ahead of Hetty and her 'toolkit' of tricks she used to spook me! I often say to Hetty 'don't put that in your box, leave it out' or 'That's a good one for my toolkit'
Anne told me that Hetty was an extremely good jumper, but that she preferred 'prancing around'. She doesn't like jumping so much anymore, this was due to her previous owner being a really nervous rider who 'freaked out when jumping') Hetty was owned a few years ago by one of Scotland's leading showjumpers, and then owner before me was novicey and terrified and got to the stage of getting off at every twitch and shake of Hetty's head.
Anne told me that Hetty didn't appreciate themanner of change in bit the day before, described the two different bits exactly!! she said she preferred the new bit but wanted more time to get used to it. This was spot on !
Hetty has a cheeky sense of humour which she uses to diffuse her tensions and worries. She would be communicating with Anne about her feelings and then suddenly go "skip-to-my-loo". Anne was completely taken aback and pressed for more...Hetty explained that she does this when i am riding her and she gets tense. Sure enough this is true. She works well and then maybe gets tense, then suddenly skips about prances and canters, and then chills again!
There was so much more....are you a believer?
Anna also 'talked' to my friends horse. In a nutshell, she described his huge sense of loss of his friend, described the other pony exactly, said they were a driving pair, that Joe had been harshly handled by someone using a thick long white rope (we have an idea about this) so he is scared and untrusting now and doesn't know how to behave, that he loves eating bananas, All totally true and completely accurate.
Each session was about an hour long -so there was such a lot!
