They are looking well Sandy. I only got 2 eggs off the ducks this morning and 1 yesterday. Hens are all still laying well though.

I am not too sure but think we may have had some duck eggs, they are in with the chicken eggs but are white, one was small and the other a bit of an odd shape, our chickens lay shades of brown eggs but then we have the foundling"""""

I think the foundling is an ex batt so her eggs should be the same as the others.  The white ones will be the ducks.  I'm lucky if I get one egg a day just now, but I could fill a duvet with feathers!

Makes no difference whether Charlie is active or not.  Lilly will lay anyway.  Why isn't she called Lola?

Might not have been on today - Duncan has all the latest gadgets - latest is an Apple machine that all programmes get automatically loaded onto.  I can't work it but 2 year old Katie is an expert!

congratulations, Sandy - after the long wait! Most ducks do put their eggs with another duck's/hen's eggs. When one goes broody she sits on a whole load of eggs which aren't hers, clever!  :&>
