My chicks are a week old now. I LOVE the fact that I can tell that I have four girls and no boys! Normally I can't tell until combs and wattles give the game away!

the leg bars are nealey 3 naw the breed i have will grow faster than most as well as having more hens than cocks.this september i will have 2 new cock birds and 20 hens im a black rock man my self but these birds can match the black rocks a good hen will make £20 pound .next yere i will have black rock cream legbar ...astralorp road island red il let some frends have them and see the results.more small holders will have my eggs and i hope i can get qualatey back in the breed .i see lots off birds in the uk scotland and they are not pure breed Proper Cream Legbars are a pure breed (breeding true) whereas Cotswold Legbars are a hybrid. The problem is that they've become quite mixed up with a lot of crosses being sold as pure Cream Legbars, so it's not easy to know for sure what you've got.
