Don't have stables here, and just half a barn left, the other half lost its roof in December

so I can use the lower pens for short periods like farrier visits, the castration op etc but it's right beside the stallion so not somewhere I use routinely or leave anything in for long. Pretty much everything is done in the fields where they are

Over winter that meant 12 in one field plus 2 and 2 and one away, but last week it got evened out a bit so now a more manageable 3+7+3+2 (and 2 away being ridden, hopefully to be sold..)
Anyway, the deed is done - gave 6 youngsters in date 1.5-2 syringes each according to size, and 3 older ponies had overdue granules in a wee feed as they probably have greater immunity anyway than the youngstock if the effectiveness is lower..
Still got enough syringes for 3 of the remaining 4 big girls tomorrow, the other will have granules as she's anti syringe anyway

and then I just need 3.5 more for the 2 geldings in the end paddock and pay for the 2 who are up Aberfeldy way and I'll be done for a while

Meantime I was in a cupboard and discovered my pickling vinegar is sell by of July 09

and the onions are already salted and nearly ready to pickle

Not sure about 2 years late but surely vinegar can't go off?
I wonder if I am needing to clear cupboards more often, both kitchen ones and garage feedroom ones..
