Chrissie's words really bring home how these earthquakes have devastated people's lives and livelihoods in Christchurch.  I have been a bit out of touch recently and hadn't realised it was still going on.  I have some photos to submit but will have to wait for my OH to be able to do it, as I get in a bit of a fandangle with stuff like that  ;D ::) :D

It's easy, Juliet - just click on the photo competition at the end of the top line and choose the category for your photo - then click on add a picture down at the very bottom. A dialogiue box will open - click on choose and you'll be taken to your own computer. Click on the photo you want to submit and then add a description if you wish.

I don't know the answer to that unless Dan has put in a failsafe of having to donate first.  You could try going to the donation page first to see if that works.

My friend Chris sent me this - they are trying to have a laugh about it all - must be extremely difficult to do that!  But you have to admire them.

Keep those photos and donations coming, folks.

I just received this from my friend, Chrissie, in NewZealand
Quote
Annie, could you please pass on my personal heartfelt thanks to all those who have entered the Smallholders photo competition.
As you know, things are not good here in Canterbury and Christchurch, so every little bit will be a tremendous help.

Im afraid I have not had enough time to contribute myself to the smallholders forum - but hopefully, as things calm down, I will be able to once again take part. I do enjoy following the topics - many are just as relevant here down under, as they are to you all "up there".

Cheers Chris

The photo competition is now closed.  Calum and Rosemary will liaise and let us know soon which photos are the winners in each category, and which is the best overall.  I will then commence work on the Calendar for Central Scotland Smallholders 2012.  If anyone wins a section and doesn't want their photo in the calendar with credit to them, please let me know.
