I've spent the morning with the girls, making birthday cards for a party they're going to this afternoon. Ater dropping them there I'll be coming back to get into 'mechanic' mode

Strangely enough the £100 car that hubby bought me has 1 or 2 things wrong with it.
Top of the list (not that it's too big a list - considering!) Is getting the brake pads replaced, isolating a small leak of something from somewhere underneath it and trying to get the drivers door to open from the outside !
That's really my top priority, since the car is a Fiesta, I'm almost 6ft tall and not the skinniest of people at the best of times (- never mind now that I'm 7 months pregnant), so trying to climb from the passenger seat over or lean over from the back to reach the handle is getting more difficult every day(and amusing to anyone that happens to see me !)

I'll spend any other 'spare' time waiting hand on foot on my OH who's laid up in bed with gout, that developed into a groin strain, that in turn has become a bad back

Men......... it's just the thought of all the work he's got to do that's brought it on I'm sure
