Is anyone else coming on Friday and if not please can you volunteer?
I am worried about being on my own with one stand let alone potentially two given I'm relatively new to this and haven't much of a scooby about a lot of rare breeds or even some of the species, don't know the park to give directions and will have enough challenge to find the place and stand there for a few hours let alone give out relevant answers to questions
I had in mind that this was an opportunity to meet likeminded folk off this board on the same side of the table rather than embarrass myself and whoever I'm representing by my ignorance
HELP please
Don't panic - I'll be there on Friday

Only til around lunchtime though

The staff at the park will be there, as will Ruth from the RBST.
All we need to do is smile, explain to people what we're trying to do. Which is - encourage the local people to get involved with the day to day care of the animals, learning, having fun and spending time out of doors in the process. There wil be a leaflet that people can take away and we'll make up a 'cheat sheet' for everyone too.
Don't panic that you don't know anything - by the end of the first hour you'll be feeling MUCH more confident. We're not there to educate as such, just to try and attract people who want to help.
Remember your reiki "Just for today - do not worry"

See you Friday

Lillian, the event officially starts at 11am, I'l be there from around 10ish (hopefully- depending on how lost I get

You know what I'm like

) I'll do the arm twisting (and the begging) tomorrow
