Hi guys thanks so much for your kind welcome to the forum and your words of advice, trust me all advice will be taken on board and much appreciated……….And sooooo many folk from Scotland!!.

Its been a hectic day here today sadly had to have 6 trees felled……we hated doing this but they were just too close to the house and blocked out so much light we couldn’t live with it………….And for our sins have been at the mercy of a raging bonfire until 1.30am today zzzzzzzzzz were needing our beds lol…..Having said that we have 8 ton of logs all cut and stored!

Thanks doganjo for your post re the forum and Tas website…….. its always good to know who is behind such good sites like this one and well done to them!!…..Fingers crossed were going to head across to Fishcross for 7pm .

Rosemary that’s a offer I cant resist lol………will pm you once ive worked out how too, thanks so much.

Thanks also to egglady (Laura) your so close and would love to visit when convenient…. and perhaps if you have time you could nip up here to Glentarkie and advise us on how best to set out the land?

Dave

Rosemary will be there tonight, not sure about Laura.  I will be, and Ayeskint!  See you tonight, Dave.

Hi from another member in north Fife, just a few miles away but I can't help with pigs and sheep as I've not got either ::)  Still, welcome and best of luck with your new venture, sounds exciting :)

Hello and welcome from Central Scotland (Falkirk/Linlithgow area).

We keep dairy goats, and breed and show them. We also keep hens and ducks, plus raised weaners for meat last year and orphan lambs for the freezer as well.

Good luck with your plans!
