Somewhere in all the link following I did there was something about not sharing ground with deer. Don't ask me where but I will post it if I come across it again.
We aim to use few meds and chemicals, I think my desire to do pigs again is fading, lovely and fun though they are and as delicious as the meat is. I'll leave it to others with an appetite for all that bureaucracy and management (just for 3 pigs running about in an acre for 5 or 6 months.) We have plenty of beef and sheep meats - and the bacon always runs out by February anyway!
