Is there any room in that suitcase for me Wendyfayre?  It is pouring here in Normandy; the mud is knee deep and I am bracing myself to get outside and sort out the rabbits and the goats.  I would sell my soul for a sunny break at the moment.

Enjoy!!! 8) 8) 8) :'( :'(

I have a list of things to do this week that will take til next February to finish! This week though,I'll be mainly building more kitchen units, zeroing in my new rifle, exploring St. Hillaire and Avranche and making more cider. Made 6 gallons this weekend just gone and my bedroom already smells like a brewery and sounds like some bubble machine on over-drive. Apparently this year's summer is on Wednesday,so might get to give the grass a final cut.

Michael Fish just phoned and said that between 0836hrs and 0837hrs the sun will shine, there'll be little wind and only a 98% cloud cover. I'd suggest you factor up with SP45,have the lawnmower ready and running and plenty of fluids at hand, wouldn't want to see you laid up with heat exhaustion and sunstroke.   ;D

Well, Sassos have FINALLY been moved to their new outside house (and run) and no longer scratching around in a stable  :P   Will remove the run in about a week or so and then they can fully free-range with the layers......until Christmas  ;D ::)
Got 3 new in-lamb shearlings to worm and then turn out with the other girls.
Got a loada rubbish to take to the tip (again).  Gotta pick up sacks of bedding for the stables.  Got the feed delivery sometime this week and so MUST clear out the feed shed  ::)
But most important of all................diggin, diggin, and more diggin........as we're trying to put in some additional drainage  :-X :-\ :-X
...and probably one or two other little jobs to do  ;D
Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again !!

We had a great day today. Tiny the pony who has been sick for months, was ridden again today. Now the sleepless nights down the field seem worth it!

I think I'll be making No.1 priority to get anti freeze and water topped up in car since we've got SNOW forecast ! Having relied on hubby a few years back and ending up with a busted engine block it's something I'm fanatical about.
On the plus side if it's snowing then at least it's not raining ! lol! I don't mind being outside working in snow!
Will hopefully be getting my mammoth batch of Xmas chutney made this weekend thus solving the problem of what to get everybody.
Enjoy whatever you're all doing this week & keep the weather reports coming ! 8)

Sheep go off for rumpy pumpy this weekend. Might be moving stables to brand spanking new ones (from our old leaky barn). Finishing planting plan (very detailed so don't have to think, can just do - see, Dan (and sometimes his parents) say they'll give me an afternoon in the garden - my job is to tell them what to do so I HAVE to be organised so I can take full advantage.

Anyway, it's pitch black when I come in from work now.

Oh, start making mincement, Christmas cake and puddings this weekend! That will be fun!
