Alpaca queries

Hi everyone, I’m thinking of taking on 3 alpaca, hopefully to guard my sheep and chickens. I’ve had sheep and pigs for years,  we have plenty of space and grazing and I’m very hands on, I’ve done my research, found a shearer and have only really found positive information for them, does anyone that keeps them here have any negatives I need to consider please? I have a small sheep trailer could I transport them in that or would I need to borrow a big trailer, I’ve heard they lie down when travelling and that some have even transported them in cars/trucks! I also understand there’s no movement license required but wondered if during lockdown I’d be able to transport? Any info most gratefully received  ;D

I’ve no experience with Alpacas but TB would be a consideration. Where they’ve come from & where they’re going to, any neighbours with cattle in a low risk TB area.
I’d also think about a larger trailer possibly, they may lie down during transport but doubt they’d be cooperative and crawl in prior to  ;D

Thank you I don’t think they are close to cattle now and there’s none near here, they’re be pets no breeding or shows etc.
