dry skin in calves

  Does anyone have experience of dry skin on calves?  I have two Dexter Angus X who I recently treated for lice with Dectospot and now they have dandruff!  I can brush it off, but it keeps coming back, so I am guessing the lice treatment has dried their skin.  Should I put some oils in their feed or something on their skin? :cow: ???

I see no harm in offering a glug of oil on some feed, to see if it helps, but I'd also offer non-oily feed so they have a choice.
Definitely no signs of other creepy crawlies? I'd presume the dectospot would kill off everything though.

All the lice appear to have gone, YorkshireLass,  it's just when I give them a rub or a scratch they're scurfy.  I have screwed some broom heads to the corner of their shelter so that they can give themselves a scratch if they want to. :farmer:
