About the author

Agnes Winter, BVSc, PhD, DSHP, MRCVS, is a lecturer at the University of Liverpool Veterinary School and is also a well-known sheep vet. She has received the George Hedley Award for outstanding services to the sheep industry. Cicely Hill has 25 years' sheep. keeping experience with flocks on a frequent larnbing system, lambing in batches throughout the year.
