Cats & Dogs » Dog Wormer

Almost all dogs are at risk of developing worms and therefore should be treated regularly with a reliable wormer product to ensure that they are happy and healthy. Don't wait to see if your dog has worms before treating them - although some dogs will display symptoms of worm infestation, this is not always the case. It is widely recommended that all dogs are treated for worms every 3 months.

The most common types of worm that affect dogs are roundworms and tapeworms, most animals being affected at some point in their lifetime. Less common forms are whipworms and hookworms, though there are treatments available for all types of infestation.

You can get wormers from your vet, but check the cost first - they are likely to be much cheaper online for exactly the same product.
