my sons just gone on to winter hours and finishes for season end in  5 weeks so its coming around quickly. my next years christmas hamper catalogue is due in next few weeks and this years stuff is paid and due for delivery v soon.

the geese have started to move we had 2 flocks do a fly past last night andd one lot this morning, its a lovely sight seeing and hearing them but not sure i like what it means!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same here, hot sunshine all day, grass is finally growing :-\ :-\ :-\  we have rasberries still, apples, elderberries, puff balls... all at once?? Is this normal????

been watching the swallows gethering this morning, thats another sign things are changing, they will soon vacate heard more geese as well this morning, its all happening in the bird department.

Our swallows have long gone except 3 from a last minute brood who are still lurking near their nest - parents stayed 10 days after the main departure but finally went a couple of days ago.  Maybe your lot will pick the little ones up on the way past, Faith.
The geese which have left yours have flown past here (slap bang in the middle of the south of Scotland) so well on their way to Morecambe Bay  :)
