Has anyone dismantled a static caravan?

I have one that I need to break up and skip and would appreciate any advice

I would just offload it to someone who can collect it.

It may well contain asbestos, so you don't want to be dismantling it without the proper gear if it does.

I've done a touring caravan, and it was far easier than you might imagine.
We took off the outer aluminium cladding and kept that separate to maximise the scrap value. Then we took the van itself to bits, bonfiring the wood, and taking the non-burnable stuff to the tip. Finally we were just left with the chassis, which we cut into manageable pieces using a gas torch and took that to the scrap man.

I've just stripped a 38'x12' static stripped it starting at one end , had a small bonfire going , and bag other stuff for tip , used a reciprocating saw , stripped alloy ,wiring copper pipes etc for scrap , then cut chassis up   and scrapped that too

We did one and made a shed out of the wooden floor.  The insulation stuff was a messy pain to deal with.  We sold the different metals for scrap.  The second one we let a travelling scrap man have but he had to take it away to dismantle!

The previous owners at our place apparently dragged their old caravan down to the far field and set light to the thing. The whole hamlet stood around watching with a beer when there was an almighty explosion that sent them diving over the nearest dry stone wall. Yes, the muppet hadn't taken the gas canister out! A very lucky escape for those there I feel.

We're just left with the metal chassis poking out from a bed of nettles  :o
