were are paying 6.60 why on earth are you paying 8.20. if your going to buy by the pallet or by the ton then you have about 2 months to use it. you must be close to the mill or a mill it maybe worth contacting them direct.

Where are you paying £6.60 for a single bag ???
The place i found is direct from Farmgate and you need to take 50 bags which is a tonne to get them at £6.
Just though i may be able to find a few people that would take some I was happy to buy the pallet just so we get some cheap as we use 2 or 3 bags a month.
I am actualy getting 30 bags of layers pellets and the rest turkey growers and pig food

East of Scotland farmers in Coupar Angus is very reasonable.
They give you a discount if you buy 10 bags, but even one bag is very reasonable.
I just got 10 bags for £50.60, not sure if the price rises have affected them yet. Got those bags about 3 weeks ago and the use by date is December. I split them with a friend so it's worth the drive.

both our ag merchants we buy 6 bags a week so one gives us the ton weight price which is harbro if not we wouldbe paying 7 pound ish the other local suppliers sells it at 7 also. this includes the additional expense of shipping it up here.
so it may be worth shopping around. the only trouble with buying so much is if you don't get the others to pay up. also check shipping costs.

can you give names for these great prices. our mixed corn is more than the layers.
lets name the good suppliers and warn of the rip off merchants.
