I was caught up at hospital today (ruddy hospital discharged my mum who I personally feel is still far too unwell and argued for 3 hours but here she is home...)  anyhoo...milking time arrived and I was stuck 50 miles away so phoned home and told them I would be late and to get their own tea (hubby that is not the kids!)

got home and my 8 year old (who I have been training!) had sorted out the correct food, used udder wipes and milked well over a pint of milk from my goat! Daddy had taken the feed in and shared it out properly because she told him that the goats were big and would knock her over as they are greedy. Tony stayed with her while she milked but as he has never tried milking she did it all 

I am so proud of her and had to share!!
