We have recently moved to Wales from Cornwall - having sold a house and associated holiday cottages. Supposed to be retirement, but with 35 acres it does not seem like it. We have 4
, 2 donkeys, 6
, 2
, and 21 Llanwenog
(they are the ones that look like Shaun off the TV). Why Wales? - its much better value than Devon/Cornwall - more land much less money (more for beer!).
The problem I have at the moment is getting some form of insurance for the smallholding. I can get insurance for the house and contents for £125, but I have been quoted £450 for insurance for the land, animals etc. (Horses/donkeys are covered separately). Anyone out there got any ideas?
